For the corporate planners who carry it all

For the corporate planners who carry it all

Someone once told me: you are the person who always has the camera focused on someone else, but you forget to feed yourself.

I have never forgotten it. And I have started to notice that the people I serve best are the same. The CEOs, the organizers, the executives who pour everything into their teams and their companies and have spent years putting themselves last.

The weight of the whole experience

Corporate event planners live this more than most. You carry the entire experience for a hundred people and nobody carries it for you. The room block, the dietary restrictions, the speaker who lands at midnight, the attendee having a hard week who needs someone to notice. It all lands on you, and you are expected to smile through it.

I know that weight because I have carried it. I have been the person up late with the rooming list and in the lobby early making sure the details landed. It is lonely work, and it is mostly invisible, and it matters more than almost anything else that happens that week.

Who I built this for

I built my business for the ones who want to hand it over completely and trust that it will be handled, thoughtfully, with no surprises.

If you want a confirmation number and to be left alone, I will warmly tell you I am not your planner, and I will mean it kindly. There is nothing wrong with that. It is just not what I do.

What I do is take the whole thing, every attendee, every detail, every 11pm arrival and every dietary restriction, and carry it so you don't have to. You get to be present at your own event. You get to actually talk to your people instead of managing them.

I see you

If that is you, I see you. And the camera can stay pointed at everyone else. That is where I like it too.
